Here's what people benefiting from our Aspergers advise are saying ...

"I subscribed to this Community about a year ago in hopes of finding support and sharing experiences with other parents who are also given the challenge of nuturing a teenager/young adult who has been given the two-edged gift of Aspergers.

I have found immense rewards of being allowed to be part of this Community - mostly in articles, antedoctal reports from other parents and the always helpful comments and suggestions of Dave Angel.

If you think that your family are all alone in this big old world struggling with something you don't understand, the Parenting Aspergers Community is a lifeline."

""Hi Dave, just to let you know and other mums out there, that your website makes you feel your not alone and isolated, I can send a mesage anytime, and help is there very soon, thanks for your help Dave"

"The Parenting Aspergers Community Web site has helped me with my difficult journey as a parent of an Asperger child. It is comforting to know that when I have a question or having a problem with my Asperger son that I have an incredible resource at the tip of my fingers.

I can post my question or problem on the Parenting blog for all the Parenting Asperger Community members who have Aspergers children also, to view and respond to my question or problem. Within minutes I usually have some great advice from parents whom have had the exact problem with their child and has given me invaluable advice from their experience.

Also David Angel the Founder of Parenting Aspergers Community will always monitor the advice given and give his expert solution on what I need to do to address the problem. I can honestly say that I get more out of Parenting Asperger Community website than what I would ever get from my son's Psychologist or Psychiatrist.

This website is an incredible resource and worth the membership fee ten fold! You won't be disappointed but pleasantly surprised at all the website offers. All the best on your journey"

Barely A Year In Operation, Parenting Aspergers Community Reaches Over 600 Members

Support Site For Parents Of Children With Aspergers Syndrome Helps Parents From America To Australia

Parenting Aspergers Community has gone from a site with a small, localized group of members to a blossoming world-wide resource with a vibrant user base of more than 600 in just over one year. The site forum continues to be the most active area, with parents from the U.S. to Australia and everywhere in between helping each other and sharing their experiences.

(PRWEB) June 16, 2010 – Parenting Aspergers Community aims to be the one place on the web where parents of children with aspergers syndrome can go to commiserate with fellow parents while learning new techniques with which to help their child succeed in today's world. Originally launched in March, 2009, the site has reached over 600 members as of June 1, 2010.

“When I first started the site, I was hoping it would grow to become a resource that parents of children with aspergers could count on to bring them hope along with practical solutions to their Aspergers challenges,” says site founder Dave Angel. “Growing to more than 600 members in just a year was beyond my wildest expectations, and I think it serves to highlight the need that exist for these parents to have somewhere to go to share, commiserate and even vent their frustrations once in a while.”

The site is built around a forum where parents interact regarding every area of life for a child with aspergers. Categories include: diagnosis, treatment/therapies, schooling, conflicts with authority, public behavior, sexuality, siblings issues and more. Site founder Dave Angel is always available in the forums to lend his expertise no matter the topic.

In addition to the forum, the site also boasts a large number of articles regarding Aspergers. Any news item that has appeared over the last 18 months has been indexed and archived for easy retrieval. This is in addition to a raft of articles from experts preeminent in the field of aspergers.

The site also lists a large number of other resources including local support groups, frequently asked questions and more. Membership currently costs $13.95 per month.
